ABOUT US
St. Norbert Adult Education Centre has a long tradition of academic excellence and has assisted over 300 students in earning their Mature Student High School Diplomas. At the same time, many more students have completed upgrading courses in order to pursue their goal of post- secondary education and training.
SNAEC provides a stimulating, challenging, and positive learning environment that will make your studies enjoyable and personally rewarding. Our knowledgeable and dedicated staff are available to help you set realistic goals. They will work with you to realize your full academic potential.
We do not charge tuition or registration fees. Once you are ready to graduate, you will be charged a very reasonable “Grad Fee” to defray some of the costs related to our ceremony such grad pictures, gown rentals and the production of a grad video.
St. Norbert Adult Education Centre is operated by the Manitoba Institute of Trades & Technology (MITT) in partnership with the Behavioural Health Foundation Inc.(BHF).
MISSION STATEMENT
Our goal is to meet the needs of adult learners through inclusive, quality programming. At our Centre, we aim to foster an environment that accommodates the diverse needs of mature students. As learners ourselves, we are committed to the spirit and excitement of lifelong learning.
HOURS OF OPERATION & CLASS SCHEDULE
The Centre is open:
Ø Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am - 9:00 pm
Ø Friday - closed
Office hours:
Ø Monday to Wednesday, 9:00 am 2:00 pm | 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Ø Thursday, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm | 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Ø Friday - closed
Classes are scheduled twice a week, either Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays, in three hour time blocks of 9:00am - 12:00pm, 1:00pm - 4:00pm and 6:00pm - 9:00pm.
Any changes to the schedule will be posted as far in advance as possible.
